An unusual bronze Buddhist nyoi (sceptre)

By Moyochin Nobuie, Muromachi Period, 16th century
The traditional lotus head with the outline carefully hammered and raised to form a stylised leaf and stem, signed with chiselled characters Nobuie saku; with wood storage box. 51½cm (20¼in) long. (2).
